This full sized shield is an exact replica of the Knights of Jerusalem Shield. Founded in 1113 the Knights of Jerusalem were renowned for their success in protecting pilgrims on their journeys to the Holy Land. The Shield includes two diagonally placed  gold-plated Fleur de Lis and a brass surround accented with black metal tips and brass studs. Below the Jerusalem Cross is a gold-plated Griffin's Head.
